打工（受僱）有意思的地方是，短期來說會比較可行，因為自僱的不好處是，你可能要等一段不短的時間（例如兩年），才開始有明顯收入。但是，你總不可能等兩年才吃飯。
為了追求理想而不吃飯是行不通的，因為不吃飯的話，人會死。死了就追求不到理想。
所以，對剛完成學業的人來說，應該先打工，以維持生計。但是，如果心裡有自僱打算的話，你會一路打工，一路儲備糧草，直到足夠維持起碼一年的生活基本開支為止。
另一方面，要加快儲蓄進度的話，你要縮減開支。思考清晰的話，「縮減開支」其實幾乎沒有困難。
例如，如果我是女士的話，我不會花太多錢去買太多的化妝品。我只會買最重要的一兩件。過多的化學物質塗在臉上，反而對臉部有害，違反化妝的原意。
又例如，我現在用的電腦，是五年前買的。雖然我的電腦很舊，但是，用舊電腦和用新電腦來（例如）寫網誌，又有什麼分別呢？
