除了電腦遊戲外,其他形式的虛擬世界,都有這個「旅程有限」的問題。無論是小說、電視劇,還是電影,故事都總有完結的一刻,之後再沒有「下一步」。
伴隨而來的,就是一份莫名的「失落感」,因為你剛剛被迫離開了,一個十分喜歡的因果網絡。故事的讀者觀眾,往往就有這種「又想知結局,又不想結束」的矛盾。
解決「沒有下一步」的其中一個方法是,「僭建」下一步 —— 編寫或開拍續集。不過,那也是治標不治本。
想「不斷地有下一步」,就應集中心思,活好每一天的日常生活,因為,只有「現實世界」,才是一個無限長的故事,無限大的因果網絡。
