You should be self-employed.

1. If some experience cannot be learned through self-employing work, work for others for several years first. (I had worked as a teacher for 3 years.)

2. For being a physicist, you have to join a university first, as a postgraduate student or a researcher. I did it by being a master student. And I have applied for UU.

The main point is your teacher and your boss have to be much more intelligent and experienced than you. Otherwise, you cannot learn much.

Start a small business.

考試大事

將「日常生活」化成「考試」，就等如將「考試」化成「日常生活」。如果你將日常生活化到好像考試那麼緊張的話，你的考試就會好像日常生活那麼不緊張。

（CN：考試其實是很小事。）

不可以這樣說。我並不是說「考試是很小事」。這類句子，都是不負責任的講法。可惜，市面上偏偏流行這類說話。

放榜（公佈成績）前後，很多人會同莘莘學子講：「不用太緊張。考試只是人生的一個小小階段。」其實，我極不喜歡這類講法。知不知這類講法有什麼不當之處？

（CN：什麼？）

這類講法是「風涼話」。現在不需要你去應付，你當然講的輕鬆。如果要「現在的你」去具體面對和切身感受考生的處境的話，你就不敢再說這類「風涼話」。

易地而處，如果你是當事人，而又有人跟你說「考試只是人生的一個小小階段」的話，你只可以選擇憤怒或者無奈。不夠的話，還可以加點不安和恐懼。

負責任的講法，應該是要教年青人，如何以健康的心靈，用正確的方法，去面對「考試大事」。同樣重要的是，要在放榜前指導他們，放榜後面對不同成績處境，應該採取什麼對應的策略，執行什麼具體的措施，去為自己的前途，爭取最大的保障。

人生，就是一場考不完的試。

以我現在的心理年齡，我再不會有特別的考試壓力，因為對我來說，每一日的生活，就好像考試一樣。

試想想，如果在某一天你原本打算做七件事，而到頭來只做到三件的話，你會睡不著覺。又例如，如果你在某次演講中詞不達意，你會在演講後鬱鬱不歡，無法釋懷，直至下一次演講成功為止。

我以前做中學教師時，每日的生活就好像考幾次口試一樣。平均每二十課課堂，我覺得只有一課是表達得好，沒有遺憾的。其餘的十九課，都是失敗收場，從而令我之後神志失常。那也沒有辦法。人生就是那樣。

有了這些電腦相關概念，我們多了很多創作「人生攻略」的思考工具。而完全不接受電腦的人，很難可以學到我們所講的處世技巧。

（安：如果你不是用「Google vs Microsoft」做例子，很難可以完備地帶出背後的道理精髓。

李先生都有講過這個要點。他用的例子是鱷魚：「如果要與鱷魚鬥，千萬不要鬥游泳，而應該引導牠去陸地同你鬥跑步。」但是，這個是一個虛構的故事。比起「Google vs Microsoft」，沒有那麼真實，亦沒有那麼詳細。）

所以說，「讀得書多」是有用的。「讀得書多」令你多了很多神奇科幻的「思考工具」，去掌握日常生活的問題。雖然我們也不是從事電腦行業，但是我們的電腦知識，令我們能理解到其他人不能理解的事情。

有時，老師甚至可以乘直升機，直接帶你離開迷宮。換句話說，即是 transcend 了那個迷宮，令你毋須要再「努力行完」它。

哲學家維根斯坦在《邏輯哲學論》的序言中說：「我這本書有兩個部分：一個是我有寫的那部分，另一個是我沒有寫的那部分。我沒有寫的部分，比有寫的部分，更加重要。」

人生 Presentation

Presentation 基本原理 1.2

這段改編自 2010 年 3 月 25 日的對話。

簡言之，說話要有條理。

每一個 presentation（表達、說話、演講、教學），最多只可以有一線「主要的故事線」（主線、Storyline）。與主線沒有，直接關係的東西，如果對主線的表達，有幫助的話，就可以保留。但是，如果與主線，沒有直接關係，而又對主線的表達，沒有幫助的話，則只會把聽眾引離主題。這類離題的內容，無論多麼精采，無論你多麼希望保留，都要刪除。

電影《星球大戰 3》（Star Wars 3）的結尾，原本是會播 5 個場景，講述 5 個主角的命運：

Yoda大師乘太空船逃難，降落至 Dagobah 行星。
Anakin Skywalker 成了 Darth Vader（黑武士）。
Anakin Skywalker 的妻子（Padme Amidala Skywalker）死去。
他們的兒子 Luke Skywalker，被一家人收養。
而女兒 Lea Amidala Skywalker，則被另一家人收養。

Yoda大師的一幕，最後被刪除了。電影監製 Rick McCallum 說，他傷心非常，因為那一幕花了，很多時間製作，而且對他來說，意義深遠。

但是，由於電影結尾想突顯，「父-母-子-女」的主線： Skywalker 一家的命運，所以，製作人員唯有「狠下心腸」，把 Yoda大師的一幕刪除。

人生也應該是這樣。凡是支援「主故事線」的東西，都可以考慮保留；但是，凡是破壞「主故事線」的內容，無論你多喜歡，無論你多麼不捨得，都應該予以刪除。

不要緊。你可以查閱《維基百科》。它可以令你「由無知變天才」。　

以前，Yahoo 本身沒有「文字搜索」的功能。她的文字搜索功能由其他公司提供。有一段時期，Yahoo 使用 Google 的「文字搜索」服務。那時，當你使用 Yahoo 搜尋器時，你會見到旁邊有一個標誌，上面寫著「Yahoo! Powered by Google」。「Powered by」的意思是「採用、建基於、由 … 驅動」。我覺得這個概念很有用。

例如，我當年 ALevel 時的 Pure Maths（純數學）水準比平均高。主要的原因是，我有一位極好的 Pure Maths 老師。他姓「程」。單憑我一己之力，Pure Maths 難以有大成。但是，如果我用「Me! Powered by 程老師」的話，我的 Pure Maths 功力就會高過一般人。

又例如，當年有李先生做我們的哲學老師，簡直是「奇遇」。單憑我一己之力，要讀好哲學的話，起碼要讀數百本書，花幾年時間，才可以略有所成。但是，如果我用「Me! Powered by 李先生」的話，除了最重要的幾本外，那數百本書也完全不用看。而且，在跟李先生學習的那三年中，我待人處世的功力多了五十年。

所以，雖然你現在的電腦知識，還未足夠令你完全了解何謂「Virtual Machine」，但是，如果你用「安! Powered by 維基百科」的話，你可以瞬間由「電腦平民」變成「電腦天才」。

情形就好像打字一樣。打字快的原因是，你打完一個英文字母，才打下一個；而不是同一刻打超過一個字母。如果你企圖同一刻打超過一個字母的話，你會打錯字。字母的次序錯了的話，時間上會得不償失。

我現在可以先講一些 presentation 的基本原理給你聽。

首先，說話要 in series（串聯），不要 in parallel（並聯）。你要說完一句說話，才開始說下一句說話。你要講完一個 point（要點），才講下一個 point。千萬不要企圖在同一刻時間中，講超過一句說話。亦千萬不要企圖在同一句說話中，包含超過一個要點（point）。

簡言之，說話要有條理。
