先唔講地唔地獄，但係因為有呢種人生觀，就算瓜咗，呢種思想模式都只會帶佢到呢啲境界嘅地方，到咗嗰度，如果佢都係咁睇野，結局又係揀自殺，咁樣不斷自殺，經歷一次又一次咁嘅局面，咁嘅經歷真係唔知算唔算地獄，可能佢都唔知經歷過幾多次呢款生生死死了，只有佢自己救到自己，其實心態改變一下就ok了，無野帶到黎，亦無野帶得走，咁認真做乜呢

The ultimate self-fulfilling prophecies:

1. free will or not

2. god or no god

3. afterlife or not

4. future spouse exists or not

Whether “afterlife” exists or not depends on your definitions of “self” and “afterlife”.

At one extreme, the definition of “afterlife exists” is that, after death, the same fixed self will continue to exist; “you” will exist in exactly the same way as before. In this definition, afterlife does not exist.

Note that even before death, during your normal lifetime, there is actually no “same fixed self”, “you” keeps changing every day and every second.

At the opposite extreme, the definition of “afterlife exists” is that, some aspects of you continue to exist in some way. In this definition, afterlife exists.

For example, if some of your writings still exist after your death, they will preserve some of your mind.

This question is like, when your old computer is dead and has got replaced, does it still exist?

Year 2000 Reloaded

These are what I kept reminding myself during my Age of University.

1. I think, therefore I am

A lot of times, something seems to be a deadend.

However, once I have faith that a solution may be possible and start to think, most of the time, that “deadline” is actually resolvable.

2. Nothing Less

A lot of times, an action seems to be insignificant.

However, actually, every action may have infinite consequences, especially when you cultivate it.

3. The Aladdin Factor

A key to get a meaningful life is to dare to ask other people or yourself for answers, advice, or favours, when necessary.

Don’t be afraid to ask, as long as a request is ethical, reasonable, and polite.

一萬個小時 3.2

這段改編自 2010 年 4 月 24 日的對話。

（安：但是我的工作，幾乎沒有一些方面，需要任何的學術成份。）

或者，未必一定是一些，十分高層次的學術課題。在你正職當中，乘機磨鍊一些才藝，都可以。例如，我在之前的工作，訓練了表達技巧。我在中學教書時，需要每天講學三個多小時。講了一年半載後，說話才通順，可以完成完整句子而不「跳線」。

那個經驗，令我知道任何學問，或者才藝，如果要訓練自己，純熟到足以用來維生賺錢，或者娛樂滿足，需要的時間幅度是，一日幾小時，持續一兩年，才會開竅；然後，再持續一兩年，才會知道自己，在該門學問才藝，為何會開竅，開了什麼竅；又再過一兩年，才會有能力教人，如何在該門學問才藝開竅。

我現在的狀態是，在某些範疇中，有能力教人之餘，還有能力教人如何教。亦即是話，如果教員甲的教學質素，好過教員乙的話，我可以解釋到，甲比乙好在哪裡。

光速飛行

而方法就是，不斷地去見人。間中相約朋友，舊朋友自然會，介紹新朋友。參加自己有興趣的活動，例如去學日文，你自然會遇到一堆，志同道合的朋友。

同時，你亦要不斷地去，增值自己，令到自己是，對方的可能對象中，最好的一個。

例如，你希望你的另一半，有大學學歷。那樣，你現在就應該用心讀書，令到自己也會升讀大學。那樣，你遇到他的機會率，就會大很多。

又例如，你要找到誠實的另一半，首先，你自己就也要是，誠實的人；然後，你要訓練自己，有能力偵測得到，他人是否誠實的人。

你可以做的，就是不停地埋下，愛情伏線。到最後，是否保證，任何人也可以，找到另一半呢？

不一定，亦不可能會有，那樣的保證。例如，即使成功結婚，亦無人能擔保，他日不會離婚。

你可以做的，就是不斷地播下，因緣種子。

那樣，只要你自我增值（例如財政和健康）的速度，快過你年齡增長的速度，你找到你另一半的機會率，就會隨時間而增加。亦即是話，你要光速飛行，與時並進。

你要記住，你想找到另一半，同時亦都在尋找，他想找的另一半；而「他想找到的另一半」，其實正正就是你。

然後，我們回到「你倆其中一方，要去外國升學」的問題。這個如果發生在我身上，我不會覺得是問題；因為，如果是外星人的愛情，就不太需要一定在一起。反而，我最重視的是，關注對方的短期生活，過得快不快樂；和長期人生，過得有沒有意義。

如果你的「愛情」是純粹為了，追求「愛情的感覺」的話，那你所謂的愛情，就是只是自私的愛情。如果只是自私的愛情，即使不是一方外地升學，即使在一起，也不會維持得到。

所以，如果是真正長久愛情的話，就不會是自私的。真正永久愛情，就是「不需要愛情的愛情」，就是「不需要愛情感覺的愛情」。愛情的核心，並不是感覺，而是兩個心靈的獨有關係。

始於外在條件，而成於形上。

亦即是話，如果我的另一半，有大理想要追求的話，我一定會支持，甚至一同去追求。即使要的分隔（例如）四年，我也不會太介意。（如果是永久的分隔，則是另一個話題，暫且不談。）

那如何維繫感情呢？

首先，你要知道，何謂「感情」。

「感情」者，「感受相同情境」也。

動物間，所能感受的相同情境，可能只有物理世界，即是日常生活。而精靈仙子間，所能感受和創造的相同情境，則不只有物理世界，亦不限於日常生活。只要你倆在分隔期間，持續有超時空搞作，感情方能維持，甚至加深。

例如，你倆可以共同研究，留學那科的學術題目。

又例如，你倆可以共同編寫一個網誌。

再例如，你倆共同經營一個網站。

最好的共同情境，就是共同創作。「共同創作」就是，共同創造一個，嶄新的世界。

Sometimes, I want to do something but have no motivation to do it.

For example, I wanted to do the exercises of a Superspring textbook. So I decided that I would publish my exercise solutions.

Then, since my exercise solutions would have long term use, I was willing to spend a lot of time working on them.
